day6: friday.
nothing major. i just finished internship and left home early. I was tired of the busy schedule and my system was getting accustumed to the chinese eating timings. So divya and me retired home early. We did our laundry(!) and caught up on some rest for the marathon shopping div had planned for saturday.

we watch CCTV9 a lot. It is the international news channel and the ONLY one in english here. CCTV is a famous broadcasting network in China and they have 12 channels, only 1 of which is comprehensible to us. This september marks the 60th anniversary of chinese victory over japanese aggresion in the world war 2. so there are loads of programs commemorating that. There are lots of documentaries and war-veterans related programs. We end up watching that most of the time.
It is an interesting chinese history lesson for us.
